Fr. Richard Goodin, Director of Vocations, is one of two young religious featured in “More Young Christians Heed Call to Become Priests And Nuns”, a video produced by NBC Left Field.
According to Reporter Katie Engelhart’s encouraging assessment, “The number of millennials joining religious life – becoming priests, brothers, sisters, and nuns – has increased over the past 15 years. Slightly. Last year, 524 men and women formally entered religious congregations or monasteries – and half of them were under 25.”
“I think God called me when I was sitting in a church pew, when I was in eighth grade at St. Augustine's grade school in central Kentucky,” says Fr. Richard.
