St. Anthony saves family vacation
Answered prayers in God's time
My husband and I decided to take our kids on a short, one-night trip to Disney World. Everything was going fine at the resort until my husband decided to run to the vending machine for some water right before bed. We were all tired and eager to get a good sleep so we'd be ready for the park in the morning. My husband came back with three waters and, to his surprise, no iPhone. We knew that he had it when he was at the vending machine because he called me while there to see if I wanted a snack. He frantically re-traced his steps to the vending machine multiple times. It was getting later and later and it was dark and hot outside. Each time, he returned with no phone. He was gone a long time for each search, and I had no way to call him while he was out, of course. We weren't having any luck with Apple support either.
I prayed to St. Anthony that he'd find his phone. My husband told me that he also prayed to St. Anthony on his last search of the night, around 2:30 a.m. We finally gave up for the night and went to bed. I didn't completely lose hope because I know some prayers aren't answered on our time and that it is important to have faith. Sure enough, the next morning, we were able to track the general location of his phone through Apple, and it was miraculously still there, unscathed, right off the path where he had been looking.
Thank you, St. Anthony!
