Live at the St. Anthony Shrine!
You are invited to join us on Sunday, June 13, 2021, to celebrate the Feast of St. Anthony! You can attend virtually from the comfort of your own home/location via livestreaming, or you can attend in person at the National Shrine of St. Anthony, which is located at 5000 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223. Get directions.
Mass times are at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (EST). The Novena prayers and benediction will start at 2:30 p.m. (EST).
The livestreaming will be brought to you by Br. Al Mascia, OFM, right here (scroll down the page) or on our YouTube page or Facebook!
Fr. Mark Soehner, OFM, Provincial Minister of the Province of St. John the Baptist, presides at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. At 2:30 p.m., Fr. John Joseph Gonchar, OFM, gives the St. Anthony Devotions and Benediction. And Fr. Dan Kroger, OFM, the CEO of Franciscan Media presides at the 4:00 p.m. Mass.
For those attending in person, we traditionally celebrate with St. Anthony’s Bread, which is given to the participants of the Masses and Novena as a visual reminder to feed the poor and hungry as St. Anthony did. Due to recommended Covid safety precautions, there will be no individual blessings with the relic of St. Anthony; however, a general blessing will be given. Other Covid safety recommendations will be followed, such as social distancing between pews and mask wearing while indoors.
