I’m Ashley. Today I was supposed to talk to priest but didn’t work out, don’t know if it is more his fault, my fault, or something else. My legs hurt (don’t know why) and I use medical scooter. It’s supposed to warm up, hope by next Sunday that it’s sunny like today; not forced to use my walker just because of puddles. Hope my legs recover. Hope that all puddles will be gone or cold but sunny. Water hurts scooter batteries. If I am forced to use walker, hope not on my period and that my legs are in good condition to use them. Hope my medical scooter still works.

I have served 25 years and want to retire from the military soon, but I fear this new conflict will not only prevent me from finally being able to retire and live in peace, but may take me away from my family again, and may even grow to the point that our government might compel my children to participate. Pray for a swift and peaceful end to this new conflict, and for an end to all wars.

My wife lost her job last year, which put us in debt. Now, all our necessities have gotten so much more expensive and our debt grows faster than interest rates. We are trying hard to keep our boys in Catholic School, but it is pushing us deeper and deeper in debt, and into financial trouble. I’m trying to fix it with a better paying job but despite so many openings and constantly applying, no one has shown interest. I just need a better job closer to home that pays enough to cover our bills and school, before it’s too late.

Dear Sisters, My name is Veronica Angel, and I am a student from Indonesia. I hope it is alright that I write to you with a humble request for prayers. For some time now, I have felt a quiet desire in my heart to return to the Catholic Church. I was introduced to the faith earlier in my life, and recently I have been praying and reflecting more deeply about coming back. However, my family is Protestant and I feel afraid and unsure about how they would react, so this journey has been something I carry mostly in my heart and in private prayer. At the same time, I am currently preparing to apply for a scholarship to study at Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta. The selection process will include tests and interviews this August. I truly hope that I may be accepted, and I pray that this path will help guide my future and my faith.
