I am disabled, in a food desert and it is winter, so it is hard to get things. My mum is an ESL tutor, and a private student will be away for a while. I hope my mum will make enough money through Cambly to make up for it. I hope my mum Glenda respects me and my dad Alan more, as my mum didn’t seem to care about how dad was feeling and my mum kicked me (yesterday) off the computer as she thought I was watching cartoons, I wasn’t, she gets in weird moods a lot, where she doesn’t seem to care what we are doing (even trying to get to bed) and expects us to do a chore. I remember couple years ago, I thought I was called to a vocation to marriage but yet I was 16 and I didn’t know much of what that is, and was new to the Catholic faith at the time, but I looked for a relationship in a superficial way of what the society tells of it, even though I did wanted to marry one day, though I was afraid of having children then. But now, it’s probably not enough for me, in a sense of filling myself in the heart. After a few years later of coming back into the faith around 2023, I thought I felt a call and became fascinated to a religious life after I read some parts of theology of the body online and of st pope John Paul ii views, in theological or if I could put that way, in mystical ways, and his quotes about vocations and young people, even the value and beauty of celibacy, as I still to this day admired it, I begin to understand later on that virginity in the Christian Catholic view, it’s not to say marriage between man and a woman is bad, or it’s less holier than the other, ect. it’s a sign that marriage is so good to the point it’s valuable to offer it as a sacrifice for the kingdom of God. Asides, We all made for union either God, either those two vocation, maybe perhaps even for single life too, Religious/consecrated life can be just as beautiful and valuable as marriage. Now recently, a few days ago, I begin to feel so saddened, disturbed, and worried that I begin to think I mad already disappointed God’s call for me to marriage, even though I still admire the beauty of vows of celibacy/religious consecrated life. It has been an anxious time and I hope that getting Dad into Aged Care was the right thing to do. Please help me to navigate the financial arrangements and to not be resentful towards my siblings. Life is getting too short now and I don't want to live it in bitterness. Thank you for being with me.
